    Home Base Florida is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of service for Veterans, Service Members, Military Families and Families of the Fallen through world-class clinical care, wellness, education and research.

    Organizational Overview

    Home Base Florida is a local non-profit founded in 2014 by the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital to better meet the needs of Florida’s Veterans, Service Members and Military Families impacted by the invisible wounds of war such as post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety and co-ocurring substance use, traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma and family relationship challenges. Home Base Florida leverages the vast cutting-edge research and expertise in sports medicine and clinical care of the parent program in Boston and today, serves Florida Military Families through community-based initiatives including an Adventure Series, Warrior Health & Fitness Program and clinical care through outpatient clinical care through our two clinics in the SWFL region.
