Mission Statement

The mission of the Florida Lions Eye Clinic is to provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical eye care that is accessible to underserved individuals in Florida.

Organizational Overview

The Clinic is dedicated to providing free eye care to those in need. To qualify, patients must not earn more that 200% below the federal policy level. The Clinic is self supported through the generous contribution of many granting agencies and private donors. In addition, most of the doctors serve in the Clinic as 100% volunteers…thus keeping our costs to manageable levels. Scores of community volunteers also assist in the clinical areas of the Eye Clinic…volunteers are the backbone of the Clinic!
