Bikes for Tykes, Inc.

Bikes For Tykes, Inc. was started in 1987 in Naples Florida by Skip Riffle. Our mission is to provide bicycles to children who might never experience the thrill and freedom of a bicycle and to those in need of transportation. Since our inception, we have provided over 32,000 bikes in SW Florida. We take unwanted bicycles from our community - review them mechanically and repair them as needed. We strive to make the kids bikes as near to new looking as possible. Most of us remember the thrill of our first bike and we want to pass that wonderful feeling along. Perhaps we can get kids away from video games and out getting exercise. Florida now ranks 2nd in childhood obesity and with your help, we hope Bikes For Tykes, Inc. can reduce this ranking.
