Organizational Overview

The YMCA of Collier County empowers everyone, no matter who they are or where they are from, by ensuring access to resources, relationships, and opportunities for all to learn, grow, and thrive. By bringing together people from different backgrounds, perspectives, and generations, the Y’s goal is to improve overall health and well-being, ignite youth empowerment, and drive economic security for those in our community. The Y serves about 40,000 individuals a year with over 4,000 of them being youth who participate in youth development programs. For the economically challenged, the Y is a lifeline, allowing them to work while knowing that their children are safe and in a caring, nurturing, educational environment. The Y’s Early Learning program serves children from 3 months through 5 years of age and helps promote school readiness by integrating math, reading, and language arts. We focus on children’s social and emotional growth while emphasizing the physical health and well-being critical to their life-long success.
