The Marco Players

The Marco Players is the oldest not-for-profit, 501(c)3, community theater on Marco Island. With a small staff and team of volunteers, the organization operates year-round. The Marco Players deliver live community theater, music, and display the works of local artists to residents and visitors of SW Florida. Started in the 1970’s (est. 1974) as a children’s play reading group, it was eventually re-created as an adult community theater known as The Marco Island Players. In the late 1970’s, the Players incorporated as a non-profit corporation, now known as The Marco Players.
