Mission Statement

St. Matthew’s House exists to change lives in a spiritual environment that is both compassionate and disciplined as we provide food for the hungry, housing for the homeless, and comfort for the addicted and suffering.

Organizational Overview

St. Matthew’s House works to provide a hand-up, rather than a hand-out to those in need. As such, our programs strive to identify and alleviate the root causes of poverty, homelessness and addiction, rather than simply providing temporary relief. Through our homeless shelters, transitional housing, feeding ministry, mobile food pantry, Justin’s Place Recovery Program and employment training initiatives, we focus on meeting the unique needs of each individual we serve in order to ensure every man, woman and child is equipped for long-term success.
