Pace Center for Girls, Inc. provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy.

Organizational Overview

Pace Collier prevents school dropout, school and community violence, and juvenile justice system involvement, and increases pro-social coping skills and communication for up to 120 girls annually. After attending Pace Collier, 97% of girls were not involved with the juvenile justice system within one year of completion, 100% improved academically and 98% were in school, higher education, or employed. Pace is recognized throughout the country for reducing the number of at-risk girls from becoming involved in the juvenile justice system. Pace provides a lower cost and more effective alternative to confinement by preventing risk factors, reducing behavior, and physical chronic health problems, while addressing adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and encouraging family strengthening initiatives. Pace is a growing and evolving organization, that continues to provide a unique blend of holistic educational, therapeutic, counseling, case management and life skill development services that maximizes interpersonal relationships and social-emotional behavior for girls.
