Organizational Overview

In 2006 Opera Naples made its official debut, and just two years after its inception, Opera Naples was named Best Performing Arts Group by Gulfshore Life magazine. In 2015 Opera Naples built its permanent home, The Wang Opera Center, which features administrative offices, rehearsal rooms, set and costume storage areas, and the Judy and John Hushon Theater. The Wang Opera Center is devoted equally to public musical performances and the education of multiple age levels. Opera Naples also uses the facility to routinely collaborate with many other local arts groups, such as Artis-Naples, TheatreZone and the music department of Florida’s Gulf Coast University.
