Naples Therapeutic Riding Center

Mission Statement

To improve the lives of children and adults with physical, social and mental health needs through therapeutic riding and other equine-related programs.

Organizational Overview

Founded in 1997, NTRC remains committed to consistently delivering safe and highly effective equine assisted therapeutic programs, while typically achieving measurable results for nearly 800 unduplicated individuals with special needs annually. The majority (59%) of those we serve annually are ages 21+ under and 41% are adults (ages 22-84), including 45% females and 55% males; with 42% of therapeutic riding families identified as having a household income less than the Federal Poverty Level thresholds. Participants include residents from throughout Collier County (including Immokalee and Naples) and Lee County (Estero).
