Mission Statement

Naples Pathways Coalition is a non-profit advocacy group dedicated to improving the safety of people who bike, walk, and run, working for the protection and equal access of vulnerable road users.

Organizational Overview

Since the incorporation of Naples Pathways Coalition in 2005, when new roads are being designed, or existing roads are being improved, we remind policymakers that every road user’s needs must be planned and designed for, including pedestrians and people riding bikes. When policymakers prioritize the goal of moving automobiles as quickly as possible through our roadways, we remind them that the safety of pedestrians and people riding bikes must be considered in addition to automobiles. Our goal is to increase the number of people who can safely bike and walk as an alternate form of transportation, for recreation, better health, and increased quality of life.
