Naples Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of Naples for the community and future generations to enjoy.

Organizational Overview

Established in 1962, the Society has evolved from a small group of people who cared passionately about preserving Naples’ history into a robust, strategically smart, fiscally sound, respected nonprofit organization that has matured gracefully over the years. Naples Historical Society has a vast array of initiatives and educational programs on its docket in order to fulfill our mission to preserve Naples’ history. From advocating for legislation to help homeowners rehabilitate their historic houses, to conducting tours of Historic Palm Cottage and educating children about their own community’s history, to lectures, friend-raising events and more, the Society has something for every demographic around the country.
