Mission Statement
Naples Botanical Garden’s mission is dedicated to Conserve & Discover by developing and conserving collections and habitats representative of the flora and cultures of the tropics. And to Engage & Inspire everyone to care for the plants around them and become stewards of the environment.
Organizational Overview
Founded in 1993, Naples Botanical Garden is an independent 501(c)(3) organization operating a beautiful 170-acre site where plants and people thrive together. Located in Southwest Florida in Collier County, the Garden is staffed by 143 full, part-time, and seasonal employees; and supported by more than 400 volunteers. At the Garden, we discover, learn about, and engage in the inspiration, beauty, knowledge, and possibilities of plants while we nurture ourselves and our families and bring our communities together. The Garden is much more than a world-class showcase for tropical plants. Through science, research, and education, the Garden collaborates to discover natural paths to conserve our environment and future.
