By supporting NAMI Collier County, you will be helping to improve the quality of life for local individuals and families who are affected by serious mental illnesses. Your donation will provide critical funds to assist those facing barriers to addressing their mental health needs in short-term emergency situations. NAMI Collier County provides all services and programs absolutely free of charge. The requests for assistance have increased over 50% since COVID-19 devastated the vulnerable population we serve. Our Emergency Care Fund helps with housing assistance, co-pays for essential psychiatric care, and medications. The Care Fund provides bus passes or other transportation to get to a doctor’s appointment, helps individuals purchase “work” clothes to start a new job, or a family to buy a school uniform to ensure their child can attend school. We offer a helping hand when it is needed most to people on their personal journey toward resilience and recovery. With your support, our Emergency Care Fund will be there to help.
