About

Meals of Hope started in 2007 after the mother of founder Stephen Popper told him about a school in Haiti where students couldn't learn because they didn't have enough food to eat. She pleaded with him to take action by shipping some food immediately. As a longstanding Rotarian, he also shared her interest in hunger relief and how he could make a difference. After doing some telling research, he decided to organize a meal packing event as a community service project with The Rotary Club of Naples and soon after, Meals of Hope was formed.
