Marco Island Academy

Partnering with Marco island Academy Public Charter High School is making an investment in our 230 students enrolled. Marco Island Academy (MIA) is an A-rated, high performing, tuition-free public charter high school open to ALL students in Collier County. In addition, MIA is recognized by the state of Florida as a school of excellence. As a charter school. we receive a fraction of the funding from the state that traditional public schools receive. The average cost to properly educate each child, offer smaller class size ratios, and provide individualized attention to students is approximately $11,200 per child per year. This amount not only includes academics, but also athletics, bus transportation, and student clubs. This year, MIA will receive approximately $8,200 per student. To bridge the gap, we must raise an additional $3,000 per student for the 230 students who are enrolled at MIA for a total of $690,000. All funds raised from our partnerships directly benefit Marco Island Academy's "Student Success Fund". The relationships we form with our community members, students, parents, and administration are vital to Marco Island Academy's success.
