Organizational Overview

The League of Women Voters of Collier County Education Fund is an all-volunteer, nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government and influences public policy through education. We provide candidate forums, Vote411.org voter information, issue forums and outreach to register voters. The League sponsors a teen citizenship program called “Know your County Government” and we serve as poll workers. Committees include Voter Services, Environmental Affairs, Social Policy, Justice, Government and Education. Through our monthly speaker series and committee meetings we educate the 300 members of the organization and reach out to the wider Collier County community by educating about Vote By Mail, reaching out to minority and youth voters and encouraging voting through social media.
