Organizational Overview

Hope for Families (HFF) strives to alleviate the wage disparity for the population that we serve through a multi-faceted approach to education. We provide hands-on learning experiences that will improve computer skills, soft skills, adult literacy and financial literacy. Our students, through our programs, develop a competency to get hired by the right employer through gaining proficiency in the English language in both verbal and written form. They are trained in resume writing and job interview classes. Too many of our students, computers are completely foreign. Our Computer Literacy program introduces our students to the digital word and trains them on the use of basic programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, among others. These are some of the tools that employees in today’s workforce needs to succeed. Finally, when are students are empowered to enter the workforce in higher wage professions, we educate on financial best practices.
