Organizational Overview

Help A Diabetic Child (HADC) is a non-profit public charity with a mission to raise money to purchase diabetes medical supplies, insulin and services which include Dr. visits and emotional support/psychology for underserved children, young adults and college students who live with diabetes and are insulin dependent for the rest of their lives. Without regular daily blood glucose testing and daily multiple insulin injections, a child with type 1 diabetes (T1D) cannot survive. The absence of proper care and treatment can increase the risk of eye disease, nerve damage, kidney disease, heart disease, and other health complications, these health complications can happen early in life.
