Mission Statement

Gulfshore Playhouse is passionately committed to enriching the cultural landscape of our region by producing professional theatre to the highest artistic standards and providing unique educational opportunities to diverse groups of people in a spirit of service, adventure, and excitement. Our work is inspired by a belief in the magic of theatre to expand the imagination, challenge the senses, provoke discussion, and revitalize in our audience an understanding of our common humanity. This belief drives the care with which we treat our artists, audiences, students, staff, and members of the greater community.

Organizational Overview

Since 2004, Gulfshore Playhouse has produced dozens of theatrical shows and created numerous educational programs serving tens of thousands across the county and beyond. Gulfshore Playhouse pursues a mission of producing theatre and education programs to the highest artistic standards in a spirit of service, adventure, and excitement, with the full belief that theatre can change the world by transforming the individual. Traditionally, Gulfshore Playhouse produces six mainstage productions, an Annual New Works Festival, and numerous in-school and extracurricular programs each year. The Playhouse promises Broadway-quality productions featuring incomparable actors at accessible prices to all members of the community. Gulfshore Playhouse Education serves over 14,000 people per year through a year through diverse programming at little to no cost.
