Description

  • Mission Statement

Our MISSION is to preserve and present great musical literature featuring artists of the highest caliber and to enrich our community through active outreach and student and senior engagement, including world-class performances and informative discussions. Our program will expand the involvement of underserved populations and persons with disabilities to strengthen community bonds through shared music appreciation.

    Organizational Overview

Great concerts and so much more! With an emphasis on quality, our program is managed by Milana Strezeva, an accomplished concert pianist and graduate of the famed Juilliard School. In addition to live concerts by world-class performers on our Fazioli F308, our visiting artists actively engage with the community through informative lectures, post-concert discussions, free community activities (schools, youth centers, senior centers), high-level student masterclasses, and engaging online group interactive events. We even offer adult and student interactive online academic music courses presented by faculty from major national universities. Grand Piano Series is professionally managed with careful attention to detail. We earned a Platinum Seal from Guidestar based on their review of our fiscal responsibility, mission-focused concert and community programs, management details, and transparency. Though COVID-19 initially caused over 50% loss of revenue, our responsive management and focus on fundraising and efficient operations allowed completion of our 2020/2021 performance season within the funds available. Beyond our presentation of thirteen live concerts with careful attention to COVID-19 seating separation and other safety standards, we substantially expanded our online offerings through this difficult period.
