Organizational Overview

Each year, Friends of Foster Children Forever helps over a thousand foster children in our area through life-changing programs that transform and heal. Foster children are removed from the care of their parents primarily because of addiction, neglect or abuse. As the number of children in foster care continues to rise, so does our commitment and determination to ensure every foster child has a chance at a better life. Friends of Foster Children Forever helps foster kids in a multitude of ways. We work to ensure the youngest children are ready to enter kindergarten through the Ready for 5 program by connecting them to early learning centers. As they grow, we provide nuturing, mentoring and tutoring services up to 3 hours per week so they can succeed in school. To support the “whole” child they can enjoy enrichment programs such as music and art lessons, sports, camps, and field trips so that they don’t miss out on activities other kids enjoy.
