Mission Statement

Florida Wildlife Federation’s mission is to conserve Florida’s wildlife, habitats, and natural resources through education, advocacy, and science-based stewardship.

Organizational Overview

Since 1936, the Florida Wildlife Federation (FWF) has united Floridians throughout the state who are determined to ensure that wildlife and our fragile environment have a voice. We believe that we must protect, restore, and connect our remaining wildlife habitats in a rapidly developing state and address ongoing climate change. Moreover, we must safeguard water quality and quantity as clean water is critically important to both humans and wildlife. FWF is also committed to environmental education. Education is a powerful tool to advance both environmental literacy and civic engagement. Through environmental education FWF works to ensure a sustainable future for all Floridians.
