Organizational Overview

One call does it all. Collier Resource Center provides in-depth assistance to every person who calls or visits our offices. An initial assessment determines what the individual or family need is and our team goes into action finding solutions. People seeking help often have complex needs. For example, it usually isn’t as simple as locating a food pantry. Needing food might be necessary because someone at home is ill, unemployed, at risk for homelessness, suffering from mental illness, caring for an elderly family member with a debilitating condition, etc. The case management we provide, at no charge, is what makes us unique. Other organizations provide information and referrals, but at Collier Resource Center we take all the time necessary to truly understand our client’s dilemma and seek the resources and assistance most appropriate for their needs. There are no phone prompts because a “live” person responds to every caller.
