Organizational Overview

CHS is a statewide organization with local leadership and advisory boards to help ensure responsiveness to the needs of the local communities. At CHS, we are reimagining the future of foster care. We’re creating a world where children are safer — where they don’t enter foster care in the first place. We’re addressing the root causes that lead to dangerous situations … and we’re implementing one-of-a-kind solutions that will change the future for children, families and communities. Some of the successful programs and services operated by CHS include: Community Partnership Schools, foster care and adoptions, counseling programs, Teen Pregnancy Prevention programs, Healthy Families, Healthy Start, Teen Parenting Services and housing, Trauma Informed Care, and Targeted Case Management.
