Healthy Start Coalition of Southwest Florida

Healthy Start Coalition of Southwest Florida is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of pregnant women, children and families in Collier, Lee, Hendry and Glades County. Established in 1992, Healthy Start Coalition of Southwest Florida, Inc. is a community-based organization that assists pregnant women and babies up to age 3 who are at-risk for poor birth or developmental outcomes. We work to ensure these women and babies have access to medical care, receive pregnancy/infant/child education, provide evidence-based screenings for early intervention and provide other community resources as needed. Our staff consists of 12 full-time and one part-time employee. Our Healthy Start services are contracted through the Florida Department of Health in Collier, Hendry and Glades County and Lee Health Hospitals in Lee County.
